Job purpose

This position provides administrative support to the Office of Financial Aid during peak processing times. Students will perform clerical duties of processing documents, scanning, imaging, saving student documents to files and ensuring they are filed correctly.

Students are expected to learn and maintain basic knowledge of financial aid process and forms. A positive attitude, attention to detail and organization skills, ability to accept directions from several people and proper work-place demeanor are essential.

  • Process and scan mail
  • Process electronic forms and attachments
  • Save uploaded documents to students’ files
  • Answer basic financial aid related questions
  • Work with advisors

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Experience Level

We are looking for candidates who have had any type of prior professional work experience.

Number of Hours per week: 6

Anticipated Length of Assignment

Summer, with possibility of longer if needed.

A minimum of 5-6 hours weekly is preferred.

Wage Range:

Wage ranges are based on Washington State’s minimum wage requirements.

$16.28 – 17.25 per hour, according to the number of terms employed at DigiPen

Working conditions

Work will take place in an indoor office setting. Hours generally land between 9am-5pm on weekdays. The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, and/or crouching; and significant fine finger dexterity. May need to lift up to 50 lbs. Generally, the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing.


DigiPen Student Employee Academic Requirements:

  • Are currently a Matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology
  • Good Academic Standing – not on Academic Warning as defined in DigiPen Course Catalog
  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher

Requirement Exceptions:

It is possible to still be selected for a position with DigiPen if you do not meet the requirements above, so don't let that dissuade you from applying!
