Job Title: Student TA - CS-350 (Li), S25
Reports to: Dr. Xin Li
Job Summary
We are seeking a Student Teaching Assistant (TA) for the CS-350 course in Spring 2025. The Student TA will support the primary instructor in conducting the course, assisting students with assignments, and facilitating discussions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in grading assignments and providing feedback to students
- Help prepare classroom materials and resources
- Facilitate group discussions and assist with student inquiries
- Attend training sessions and meetings with faculty members
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
- Accountable for tracking and reporting the amount of time worked.
Qualifications/Competencies
- Currently enrolled as a student at the institution
- Strong academic record and knowledge in the subject area
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and other students
- Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented
Expected number of hours per week: 10
This position is part-time and will require availability during regular school hours. Working hours may vary based on the academic calendar and the needs of the department.

Wage Range:
$16.28 - 17.25 per hour, depending on number of terms worked at DigiPen

Working Conditions:
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, and/or crouching; and fine finger dexterity. May need to lift up to 25 lbs. Generally, the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing.
DigiPen Student Employee Academic Requirements:
- Are currently a Matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology
- Good Academic Standing – not on Academic Warning as defined in DigiPen Course Catalog
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Have taken and passed CS-350 with a B or better
Requirement Exceptions:
It is possible to still be selected for a position with DigiPen if you do not meet the requirements above, so don't let that dissuade you from applying!
